Two new tools have been added to the system that will allow you to customize various types of letters to your customers. We think you'll find these to be very useful.

Custom Customer Letters . . . This feature allows you to set up as many customized letter types as you like. For instance, you may want to send out personalized "Thank You" letters to new customers, announce new products or services, or notify disconnects . . . whatever you want. Each of these letter types is saved in the system and can be used over and over again.

The system will format each letter to include the date, name and address, and salutation so that it fits in a standard business window envelope. You simply enter the text you want to use.

You'll find these letters in the system under "Customer Reports" as Report ID CR17.

For detailed Help on how to set up and use these custom letters, go to any Help topic, left-click the "Index" tab, and then key in the words "Custom Customer Letters".

Over 30 / 60 / 90 Day Letters . . . In the past, these letters were pre-formatted for you. Now, you can use any wording you like. This is a two step process:

First, go to "Company Preferences" and left-click on the "30/60/90/ Text" tab. Then enter the wording you want to use for each of the three letters.

Second, to print the letters, go to "Customer Reports" and select Report ID's CR09, CR10, or CR11. Use the filters (as appropriate) to select which customers you want the letters sent to.

And, just like the Custom Customer Letters described above, the system will format the 30 / 60 / 90 day letters to include the date, name and address, and salutation so that they fit in a standard business window envelope.
